I’ve seen some amazing young talent in the short time that I have been following this blog. Side note: I would love to know what the words are in the background of the self-portrait . I zoomed the pic but I can only make out a few words, one of which is “Being,” I think.

I was surprised to find myself on here. Someone emailed a link and I thought they just thought I’d find the site interesting. The words in the background of the self-portrait are the first verse from an Emily Dickinson poem. It reads as follows:
I asked no other thing,
No other was denied;
I offered Being for it,
The mighty merchant smiled.
