Funny, looking back at this comment, how what I said is based on only ONE eye, not two! Yet, I feel the same. The eyebrow has something to do with it as well but one eye is enough. Sure, I could have seen the title then looked for the emotion but in this case, if that painting had been named “Fancy Earring,” I still think I would have been saying to myself, “Gosh, that lady had something heavy on her mind.”
